Welcome to Preschool at Shannon Park!

Early childhood is a time of great discovery! Connections Preschool gives students the opportunity to play with other children while learning important pre-kindergarten skills. Connections Preschool for 4 year olds is available at Shannon Park Elementary. The preschool curriculum is aligned with School District 196’s K-12 learning standards. Beginning math, reading and writing skills are introduced alongside a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum. All teachers are fully licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education. In order to attend, children must be four-years-old on or before September 1, 2021 and live in District 196.  The Connections Preschool Catalog for 2021-2022 will be mailed to homes with 3 and 4 year old children by the end of January. For more information or assistance in registering, call 952-388-1960 or visit www.district196.org/ecfe.
